Graphic Designer

Key Responsibilities Maintain the availability and accuracy of the GIS mapping portal and coordinate with IT to resolve functionality issues.Update GIS databases with new queue projects and establish links with Transmission and Interconnection Planning databases.Update GIS data related to transmission infrastructure, system footprint, and substation details.Perform quality control and validation to ensure data accuracy and consistency.Develop maps, graphics, and visualization materials to support system and transmission planning activities.Create mapping and visualization materials for RTEP, TEAC, and sub-regional TEAC initiatives.Perform data visualization and mapping for ongoing Generation and Merchant Transmission projects.Create, edit, and maintain GIS features within an ArcSDE geodatabase / MS SQL Server environment.Perform queries using ArcGIS and SQL Server and visualize query results.Support organizational requirements related to CAD design, including technical coordination with IT.Provide technical support for special projects involving GIS databases and mapping systems.Assist project management and department leadership in developing work plans, including scope, milestones, schedules, resources, and deliverables.Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.1–3 years of experience coordinating CAD design projects, OR1–3 years of hands-on experience with one or more of the following:ESRI ArcGISCAD tools, including Autodesk and/or BentleyAdobe Creative SuiteRequired Skills Experience with GIS mapping, CAD design, data visualization, or graphic design.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Ability to understand and adhere to compliance requirements.Strong analytical, visualization, and complex problem-solving skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with technical, business, project management, and IT teams.Preferred Qualifications 1–3 years of experience working with RTO/ISO Operations, Energy Markets, Transmission Planning, or Power System Planning.Experience with ArcSDE, SQL Server, geodatabases, or transmission infrastructure mapping is a plus.
