Pay: $28-$30 per hour

About the Role:

Athena is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to create impactful visual content across packaging, e-commerce, digital marketing, merchandising, and brand communications for Athena and its portfolio of brands, including Yardi. This hands-on creative role is ideal for a designer who thrives on bringing ideas to life while balancing creativity with precision, consistency, and production excellence.

You'll collaborate closely with the Director of Marketing and cross-functional teams to develop packaging, Amazon content, digital marketing assets, social media graphics, print collateral, photography, and multimedia content that supports product launches and strengthens Athena's growing portfolio of brands. We're looking for someone who embraces emerging creative technologies, enjoys learning new tools, and takes pride in delivering polished, production-ready work.

What You’ll Do:

Lead and mentor the internal creative team while remaining an active, hands-on designerDesign packaging, labels, and prepare production-ready artwork that meets vendor specificationsCreate engaging Amazon, e-commerce, and digital marketing assets that drive customer engagement and maintain brand consistencyDesign brochures, catalogs, product sheets, advertisements, trade show materials, presentations, and other marketing collateralDevelop graphics for social media, YouTube, email campaigns, podcasts, webinars, and internal communicationsEdit product photography and create image assets for digital and print applicationsAssist with website graphics, user interface assets, merchandising materials, and event brandingReview vendor proofs and coordinate with printers and packaging suppliers to ensure production accuracySupport white-label packaging projects and the development of new product brandsCreate and edit basic video content, promotional materials, and AI-generated voiceovers for marketing and trainingUtilize AI tools to accelerate design workflows, generate concepts, and improve creative efficiency while maintaining high design standardsCollaborate with Marketing, Product Development, Sales, Customer Experience, and other teams to deliver creative solutions on scheduleMaintain organized project files and contribute to a consistent visual identity across all customer touchpoints

What We’re Looking For:

Experience & Creative Expertise

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field3+ years of professional graphic design experienceStrong portfolio demonstrating branding, packaging, print, and digital design workAdvanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, branding, and print productionExcellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinesStrong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

AI & Creative Technology

Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, or similar creative platformsAbility to leverage AI to improve design workflows while maintaining originality and brand consistencyCuriosity and willingness to learn emerging creative technologies

Nice to Have

Experience with FigmaExperience creating Amazon A+ Content or other e-commerce assetsPhotography and photo editing experienceExperience working in Google WorkspaceBasic video production and editing experienceExperience with website design or user experience principlesExperience supporting multilingual or international marketing content
