Overview

Are you a precise, creative designer ready to own a core brand aesthetic and eventually build your own department? We are a fast-growing distribution and manufacturing startup looking for a Graphic Designer to spearhead the creative development of our core product line: premium poker chip labels and gaming components.

This is a full-time hourly position that sits on an explicit leadership track. As our production volume scales, this role is budgeted to transition into a salaried Design Team Lead position, where you will hire, mentor, and manage our expanding creative department.

Key Responsibilities

Asset Creation & Print Design: o On-Site Labels: Design highly detailed, high-resolution micro-graphics, typography layouts, and intricate vector artwork specifically optimized for locally printed and assembled poker chip labels.

o Full Ceramic Chips: Develop comprehensive, 360-degree digital designs for premium ceramic poker chips, including custom edge spots, rolling edge alignments, and seamless face graphics.

o Manufacturing Optimization: Prepare and pre-flight precise print-ready vector files (including exact color matching, bleed lines, and registration marks) optimized specifically for specialized, large-scale ceramic print manufacturing processes in China.

Production Proofing: Collaborate on-site at our Casselberry facility to conduct color-matching, material-vetting, and print-quality checks on physical proof sheets.Asset Architecture: Clean, tag, and organize layered source files into a scalable digital library to prepare for high-volume manufacturing lines.Brand Evolution: Establish and document uniform brand guidelines, color palettes, and print specification templates for future design iterations.Client Communication: Communicate with clients daily to gather and confirm design specifications.Leadership Pipeline: Actively participate in strategic brand discussions, project management planning, and structural planning to transition the startup into a multi-designer workflow.Qualifications & Skills

Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, specifically focusing on complex vector paths, clean masking, pattern creation, and preparing precise digital artwork files optimized for both local digital label printing and overseas dye-sublimation production.Print Production Knowledge: Deep understanding of bleed lines, CMYK color spaces, spot-color separation, and how digital designs translate to physical substrates/plastics.Portfolio Requirement: A professional portfolio showcasing clean vector artwork, precise typography layouts, and examples of physical product designs or print-ready commercial layouts.Leadership Ambition: Exceptional communication skills and a desire to transition from execution to team management, mentorship, and creative direction.Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 2+ years of professional design experience preferred, ideally including print production.Software Support: Familiarity with Google Workspace and Monday.com is an asset but not mandatory.Why Join Us?
