Marketing Design SpecialistResponsible for the development and execution of concepts and designs for all marketing channels as well as point of sale.DesignDesign and execute effective and on-brand creative for direct mail, point of sale, internal marketing, emails, web pages, social media, banner ads and other digital elements used to market Fielmann USA brandsEnsure aesthetics are aligned with usability, accessibility, and web standardsCollaborate with merchandising and marketing teams during all stages to ensure consistency of branding across all customer touchpointsPresent concepts and design solutions for review and approvalConduct research and competitive analysis to support conceptsThoroughly review work and execute accurately within creative standardsPropose new ideas to inspire art directionProductionMonitor key production dates from initial direction through release and meet all established deadlinesPrioritize daily tasks to meet deadlines in a process-driven environmentEnsure design standards are consistently followedComplete changes from edits and internal feedback accurately and timelyMinimum Knowledge, Experience & Skills Requirements3+ years of graphic design experienceMinimum associate degree in Graphic Design, Communication Arts or related programAdvanced knowledge of Adobe graphic programs with an emphasis on Adobe editing suites including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesignDemonstrated experience in digital design with a digital portfolioAble to edit HTML email templates that render consistently across multiple clients and browsersSolid understanding of four-color printing processExcellent graphic design/layout/typography skillsStrong conceptual skillsAttention to detailStrong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects while meeting different deadlinesCollaborative personality and the ability to work within a teamStrong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsAble to thrive within a fast-paced environmentEssential Functions & Work RequirementsAbility to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization through written and two-way verbal communicationAble to sit or stand for extended periods of timeAble to operate various office equipment (e.g., personal computer, telephone, fax machine, copier, etc.)Ability to see (Near, Distance, Color, and Depth Perception)Able to evaluate colorAble to lift 10 to 20 poundsAble to view/read computer screen for extended periods of timeAble to work normal and/or extended (evenings, nights, and weekends) office hours to meet established deadlinesAble to travel independently to support Company objectives and personal developmentThese statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by teammates assigned to this job classification.
