Graphic Designer

The ideal candidate will need to be within a 10 mile radius or within a 30 minute drive (Philadelphia candidates will not be considered as the commute is too far) of the store and have a reliable vehicle to travel between stores as needed.

Job Summary

As a Graphic Designer, you’ll turn creative briefs into clear, engaging visual work across digital and print channels. You’ll collaborate with clients and project partners to shape concepts, develop brand assets, and deliver polished files ready for publication or production. This freelance role calls for adaptable project management, thoughtful design decisions, and reliable communication from kickoff through final delivery.

Duties

Develop visual concepts and art direction for branding, marketing design, and advertising projects.Create logos, illustrations, digital art, layouts, presentations, and typography for print and digital media.Design web and user interface (UI) assets; update WordPress and other content management systems using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as needed.Edit photographs and video; produce motion graphics using tools such as Adobe After Effects.Prepare production-ready files, applying prepress, color management, typesetting, and print production standards. Your impact: Accurate, accessible designs help clients communicate clearly with their audiences across formats.Skills

Strong graphic design, visual design, digital design, print design, layout design, color theory, and typography skills; professional art or design experience is preferred.Technical proficiency with graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; experience with Figma, Sketch, or CorelDRAW is also useful.Familiarity with photography, photo editing and manipulation, illustration, video editing, and production design.Understanding of design file preparation for print, print advertising, and sign manufacturing workflows.Marketing knowledge, presentation skills, and web design experience; JavaScript, HTML, CSS, WordPress, and other content management systems are helpful.Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
