The Graphic Designer will report to the Chief Marketing Officer & Creative Director and work directly with marketing colleagues, sales and other internal departments to visually convey brand messaging, identify problems, define objectives, and devise marketing solutions. Design and production • Graphic design and production of marketing materials and activities including, but not limited to: print, web, social media, collateral, blogs, advertising, digital banners, promotional materials, video, sales presentation support, email marketing, and trade show event materials and booth design. • 3-5 years experience working in-house or for an agency • Advanced command of the Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign • Knowledge of print, social and web production and an understanding of the limitations in each medium • Some experience with CMS and email platforms • Understanding of UI/UX concepts • Ability to prioritize, organize and get work done efficiently and effectively • Excellent verbal and presentation skills to quickly communicate ideas • Accuracy and attention to detail • Open minded when listening to feedback • An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment • Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines • Takes direction and works well in a team environment as well as independently • Good listening skills • Ability to take initiative, help fellow employees and have a roll-up sleeves mentality • Design work for industrial products a plus • Experience doing light copy writing and social post writing a plus. Portfolio with design and production samples in both print and digital is required. A.)
