Graphic Designer

New Orleans area sign company in seek of self motivated candidate to fill full-time graphic designer position. Expected Hours: M-F 8am-4pm (occasional late and early hours available) Qualifications: Must have extensive knowledge/skill using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator & Photoshop especially) Previous sign shop experience is a PLUS but not a necessity Be able to create exciting and creative layouts and typography based on customers’ needs Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize jobs and workflow Must be able to HANDLE AND QUICKLY ADAPT TO CHANGES in workflow Must be able to handle deadline-oriented tasks Be able to work with others in an open shop setting Have excellent customer service and communication skills Duties: Create & design layouts for signs, vehicle graphics/wraps, t-shirts, promotional items, etc. Work with customers via email & phone when needed to finalize layouts Prepare approved artwork for multiple printing/finishing processes Assist with shop production Make and receive phone calls related to new and current jobs Help with customers at front desk About Us: We have been in business since 2006 creating all types of signs including yard signs, banners, vehicle graphics & wraps, store-front & window graphics, t-shirts, promo items, etc. We are constantly growing and adding equipment/services to broaden our capabilities and customer base.
