Graphic Designer

Hours: 20-25 hours Location: Temporarily Remote Welcome! ACET is a small woman- and minority-owned consulting business in Minneapolis (acetinc.com). We are looking to hire a graphic designer to bring creativity, beauty, and innovation to a wide range of products from written reports, event materials, marketing materials, e-newsletters, websites, infographics, presentations, branding, proposals, and charts/graphs. This includes turning complex data into impactful visuals. Experience • Knowledge of design principles, layout, typography, and color • Experience with: • Data visualization: turn findings into impactful messaging • Content creation to engage audience with products • Enhancing visual layout of reports and proposals • Website management and maintenance through a Content Management System • Developing cohesive presentation materials • Writing and creating attention-grabbing advertisements and recruiting materials • Turning data into infographics or easily digestible “one-pagers” • Photo editing • Developing, maintaining, implementing and evaluating social media initiatives • Researching and implementing new technologies • Independently managing projects from start to finish including working with vendors • Exceptional writing and proofing skills and attention to detail • Developing and promoting brand consistency • Excellent interpersonal skills to work in team settings and independently to accomplish project goals • Work cross-functionally to implement company-wide initiatives • Thrive in fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines Requirements • Four-year degree in related field • At least 2 years of experience working in the design field • Expertise in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign • Expertise with Google products (Docs, Slides, Sheets, etc) • Expertise with website platforms such as Squarespace, Wordpress and WixWordpress and Squarespace, Wix • Knowledge of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
