Responsibilities • Conceptualize and design visually compelling graphics aligned with the Mayor's brand style, priorities, and communication objectives and produce excellent social media content made for today’s internet. • Collaborate with the Digital Communications Director, public information officers, and staff from across City departments to create visual content that aligns with the Mayor’s communication goals and the City of Boston brand. • Conceptualize, organize, and contribute to short and long-term design projects and social media campaigns showcasing the work of the City of Boston, its residents, and the Mayor’s initiatives. • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and in rapid-response situations, including after 5PM and on weekends as needed • Detail-oriented with the ability to exercise discretion and good judgment. • Experience with social media management and producing a variety of social media content.
