The Ability Center (ACT) is a non-profit Center for Independent Living, currently expanding to serve more counties in our region. Together, we will work to make our community the most disability friendly in the nation by increasing independence for people with disabilities... discovering true passions, and changing the community's perception of disability. The Graphic Design and Digital Marketing Specialist plays a key role in the Marketing and Outreach Department. Requirements • B.S./BA in Design, Graphic Arts, Multimedia, Communications, Technology, or equivalent experience • Minimum of 4 years of multimedia production, design, or related experience • 3 years experience in web strategy, user experience design, content management, and digital deployment • Knowledge of accessible digital and print design best practices and/or interest in developing related skills • Experience with photography and/or an interest in developing related skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and graphic design software on Mac and PC • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, HTML 5, CSS, and WordPress • Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills • Good time management skills and adaptability to a changing environment • Understanding of and commitment to the Independent Living Philosophy At the Ability Center, diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the core of who we are.
