Job Description Location: Columbia, SC (On-Site) Type: Full-Time Reports to: Creative Director / Head of Product Local Boy Outfitters is seeking a Graphic Designer to support and elevate our apparel graphics, with a strong focus on t-shirt design, repeat pattern creation, and innovative creative workflows. This role is ideal for someone who understands lifestyle brands, enjoys hands-on design work, and is excited to incorporate AI tools to enhance speed, creativity, and scalability. You’ll work closely with the creative and product teams to develop artwork that aligns with our brand identity while pushing designs forward. Key Responsibilities • Design original t-shirt graphics aligned with Local Boy Outfitters’ brand and lifestyle aesthetic • Create repeat patterns for woven and knit garments • Develop print-ready artwork for apparel production • Collaborate with product development and design teams throughout the seasonal calendar • Explore and implement AI-assisted design tools to improve concepting, pattern generation, and efficiency • Prepare and organize files for factories and production partners • Maintain consistency across collections while contributing fresh ideas • Qualifications • 2–5+ years of graphic design experience, preferably in apparel or lifestyle brands • Strong portfolio showcasing t-shirt graphics and pattern work • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop • Understanding of print techniques, color separation, and garment decoration • Strong sense of typography, composition, and visual storytelling • Preferred Experience • Experience designing for apparel brands, especially t-shirts • Familiarity with repeat pattern development for garments • Interest or experience using AI tools (Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, or similar) as part of the creative process • Knowledge of outdoor, coastal, or lifestyle brand aesthetics • Portfolio Submission (Required) Please include a portfolio link or PDF with your application.
