Based on the essential and other duties and responsibilities of the position, the Graphic Designer should have a number of professional skills and abilities: • Strong attention to detail • Good interpersonal and customer service skills, well-developed verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work with internal and external clients • Sound organizational, records management, and time management skills • The ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities, meet assigned deadlines, and manage the related stress Based on the technical and professional responsibilities of the position, the Graphic Designer is required to have: • An associate degree in graphic design • A minimum of two years of experience in a similar position, or • An equivalent combination of education and experience • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and a variety of graphic design software including Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel, and Adobe Acrobat While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear, use hands and fingers, and handle controls.
