Graphic Designer, Character Illustrator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Graphic Designer / Character Illustrator to join our team, full-time, in-office. This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft compelling visual images through character design and digital art, contributing to ongoing creative projects. The ideal candidate will possess a foundation in illustration, attention to detail, and a high degree of creativity and enthusiasm. As a key contributor, you will transform concepts into captivating illustrations that resonate with audiences of all ages!

Responsibilities
• Develop and illustrate original characters based on concepts we will provide, aligned with project requirements and brand guidelines.
• Utilize digital art techniques to create detailed character designs.
• Design logos, branding elements, and layout compositions.
• Use software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or others to execute designs.
• Web design would be a plus!

Qualifications
• Experience in graphic design with a focus on character illustration and digital art creation.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in illustration and character design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and/or other relevant tools.

• Hourly rate $25-$28 (must average 40 hours per week in-office), plus 6% towards retirement, plus an extra $50 per week in lieu of medical, though you can use these funds for whatever you like!
• We will provide all equipment and software you need.
• Augusta is a vibrant and growing area with a reasonable cost of living, and access to cities like Atlanta, Charleston, Savannah, and Charlotte within 2-3 hours.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
