The University of Tennessee (UT) College of Arts and Sciences Office of Communications is looking for a graphic designer to join a growing team of professional communicators. The graphic designer is responsible for conceptualizing and creating original designs for all print and digital communications and marketing needs for the college, its 21 departments, 8 interdisciplinary programs, and centers for research and creative activity. • Work with the communications director to develop the creative brief and lead production of the college alumni magazine, Higher Ground • Create images, layouts, and illustrations to reinforce and represent the mission of the UT College of Arts and Sciences using products in the Adobe Creative Suite such as InDesign, Illustrator and/or Photoshop • Ability to use Canva as a digital design platform
