The primary responsibility of this position is to design branded graphics and visual content for multiple social media clients and campaigns, while also contributing to broader content creation efforts including on-site photography and short-form video. You will work closely with the Director of Social Operations and account teams to keep client content visually consistent and on-brand.This role begins as a freelance/contract position, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as the workload and fit warrant.To be considered for this position, please include a link to your portfolio in your resume or cover letter.Working conditions: this position may occasionally require flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, to meet client deadlines. Some in-person collaboration or on-site shoots will be required depending on client needs.Travel: this is an in-person/hybrid role where occasional local travel for on-site shoots or client meetings will be required. What You’ll DoDesign branded social media graphics for multiple clients, including feed posts, stories, reels covers, and carousels.Build and maintain reusable design templates for recurring content types, such as promotions, incentives, event announcements, and menu features.Design supporting marketing collateral, including flyers, digital ads, email graphics, and print materials for client campaigns.Ensure every design reflects each client's brand guidelines, voice, and visual identity across all platforms.Contribute to content creation as needed, including on-site photography, short-form video filming, and basic editing.Develop and execute design concepts from ideation through final delivery, aligning with client objectives and increasing brand awareness.Collaborate with Social Media Managers to translate content plans into finished visual assets.Manage multiple client design requests and deadlines simultaneously, working within Asana and Rella for task tracking and content scheduling.Analyze design and content performance trends to inform future creative decisions.Work under the general supervision of the Director of Social Operations while coordinating design projects for clients.Independently manage special design projects and tasks as assigned by the CEO.Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.What We’re Looking ForAssociate degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Prior experience designing for social media or marketing campaigns with a portfolio to show.Proven proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Canva.Strong portfolio demonstrating design fundamentals, including typography, layout, color, and brand application.Proven knowledge of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube, and how design translates across each.Ability to think creatively while maintaining strong attention to detail.Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to set priorities and work on multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Must work well in a team-oriented environment and collaborate effectively on assignments.Reliable transportation for occasional on-site shoots or in-person client meetings.Bonus PointsFamiliarity with CapCut for short-form video editing.Photography or videography background beyond design.Experience building repeatable brand systems and reusable design templates.Servant leadership mindset: setting a positive example through daily actions and decisions.Tell us why you’d be great at this.
