The Team provides the public-facing voice of the office, working with the press to share information, using digital tools to communicate directly with New Yorkers... and creating communications products to explain the work of the office. - Design visual communications products for a variety of digital platforms to tell stories, explain concepts, and visualize data to further the Comptroller’s office’s work as a public resource for New Yorkers on the City’s budget, operations, and economy. - Perform other related assignments and special projects as may be required. Skills/Qualification Requirements: A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and at least two (2) or more years of full-time experience in graphic design or communications, or in a related field in a government, non-profit, advocacy, labor, or an equivalent private setting; or, an associate degree from an accredited college and four (4) or more years of professional experience as described above; or, a satisfactory equivalent of education and experience.
