Overview SUNY Onondaga Community College, located in Syracuse, NY is currently recruiting for a Graphic Designer & Content Creator The Graphic Designer and Content Creator plays a vital role in shaping the visual identity of the College and ensures brand consistency across all marketing platforms. This position supports the College in effectively delivering on-brand messaging to our diverse audience of students, faculty, staff, and the broader community. Two years of agency experience as a graphic designer Experience working in higher education is a plus but not a requirement Demonstrated evidence of ongoing professional development efforts to maintain currency in graphic design best practices and techniques and for the creation of effective and engaging content Strong writing skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders Bilingual in English and Spanish. Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously Strong understanding of branding principles and brand management practices Creative and innovative thinking, with a passion for exploring innovative design solutions and considering novel solutions to problems Experience working as part of a collaborative team as well as independently Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines; maintain a flexible attitude and schedule as needed.
