About the Role
The Graphic Designer supports overall Marketing efforts by creating quality creatives to be used across a wide variety of Marketing initiatives, mostly focused on online advertising. This role combines digital image and video work in conjunction with hands-on production in order to produce multimedia work with high-quality standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities
Create digital marketing assets for email campaigns, website content, paid ads, and social mediaEdit and retouch product photography in PhotoshopDesign promotional graphics for events, product launches, and campaignsEdit short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Meta advertisingCreate motion graphics, text overlays, and social-first contentMaintain consistency across all brand touchpointsOrganize and manage creative files and assetsCollaborate with Marketing team on campaign executionPrepare creative assets for email marketing, Shopify, and event materialsAssist with content creation for new product launches and colorway releasesCore Skills
Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and FigmaExperience with video editing software (Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar)Understanding of social media content trends and best practicesStrong attention to detail and ability to work independentlyExperience creating content for consumer brands preferredKnowledge of photography retouching techniquesAbility to meet deadlines and manage multiple projectsStrong organizational and communication skillsBonus Skills
AI image and video prompt experienceExperience with Klaviyo email designProduct photography and videography experienceMotion graphics and animationExperience working with lifestyle, fashion, accessories, luxury, or DTC brandsExperience with high level lighting equipmentCommunication & Collaboration
Report directly to Director of MarketingEnsure proactive communication and contribute to effective problem-solving throughout the organizationCheck Slack and email regularly and respond promptlyHelp maintain overall office organization, cleanliness, and operational readinessWorkplace Standards
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspaceComplete assigned tasks within scheduled hoursAttend required meetings and training sessions
What We're Looking For
Must be located in NYC and must be able to work in-person at Downtown BrooklynMinimum one year designing digital marketing brand assets and editing short form social video content.Experience creating high converting paid advertisement creatives.A visually driven designer with a strong portfolio spanning product and brand with a genuine appreciation for craft and qualitySomeone who can think strategically about brand identity while also executing hands-on design work to a high standardProficiency in industry-standard tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc) with solid knowledge of print production requirementsA social-media-savvy creative who understands platform nuances and knows how to make content that performsA clear, proactive communicator who collaborates well across teams and manages timelines without needing to be chasedHighly organized with clean file management habits and the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-moving environment
