Graphic Designer – Cosmetics Packaging

Company Overview

A cosmetics company located in Downtown Los Angeles is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys beauty, fashion, packaging, and product development and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

The Graphic Designer will work on a wide variety of projects, including cosmetic packaging, marketing materials, merchandising displays, digital content, and presentations.

Full-time and part-time candidates will be considered. Full-time preferred.

Responsibilities

Create artwork and packaging designs for new cosmetic productsDesign catalogs, flyers, brochures, advertisements, posters, trade show graphics, and other marketing materialsCreate merchandising displays, header cards, and retail graphicsRetouch, color-correct, and prepare product imagesRevise and update existing packaging and artworkPrepare presentations and visual materials for internal and customer meetingsCreate graphics and content for websites and social mediaResearch beauty, fashion, packaging, and competitor trends for inspirationTranslate trends and concepts into original, commercially appealing designsReview artwork and packaging files for accuracy and make necessary correctionsManage multiple projects while meeting deadlinesQualifications

1+ year of professional graphic design experienceProficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and InDesignStrong understanding of layout, typography, color, and print productionStrong attention to detail, especially for packaging and artwork placementAbility to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlinesProactive, organized, and self-motivatedStrong communication and teamwork skillsComfortable taking direction, receiving feedback, and making revisionsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentStrong interest in current beauty, cosmetics, fashion, and packaging trendsBachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field preferredPhotography and/or video editing experience is a plusPosition Details
