Graphic Designer – Data Visualization Onpoint Health Data is seeking a new team member to provide an array of graphic design support across our teams and products. This role sits at the intersection of design, storytelling, and data — perfect for a designer who loves to make numbers and information not just understandable, but beautiful. • Design compelling data visualizations (e.g., charts, graphs, infographics, dashboards) that align with business objectives • Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to understand the data story and develop visual concepts to communicate it clearly • Translate raw data and statistical findings into visual formats for reports, presentations, and digital platforms • Maintain visual consistency and adhere to brand guidelines while enhancing communication impact • Design interactive and static visual content for business proposals, reports, social media, websites, and presentations • Iterate quickly on feedback while maintaining a high standard of design execution • Help ensure accuracy and clarity across our teams' reporting products • Stay up to date with trends in data visualization, UI design, and data storytelling • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, data visualization, or a related field • 2+ years of experience in graphic design with a focus on data-driven work • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Figma • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau • Strong portfolio showcasing data-based design work and storytelling capabilities • Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail, layout, color, and consistency • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with designers, data scientists, and business teams • Knowledge of accessibility and usability best practices for data visualizations • Experience with basic data tools (Excel, Google Sheets) or programming languages (e.g., Python, R, or JavaScript libraries like D3.js) (preferred) • Familiarity with UX/UI principles for interactive dashboards or reports (preferred)
