Graphic Designer/Digital Marketing Specialist

Oklahoma Educators Credit Union is looking for an energized and creative Graphic Designer/Digital Advertising Specialist to join our Marketing team.

JOB DUTIES:

The Graphic Designer/Digital Marketing Specialist will help design, create and implement advertising and digital marketing for OECU. We have room to grow our digital presence and are looking for a new team member with the skills, insight, creativity, and desire to help us reach our goals.

Develops advertising promotional strategies and content to increase product sales and attract new members by creating visual concepts using computer software. This includes print and digital media content.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm creative solutions for promotions and campaigns.Develop campaigns and strategies for successful new product launches and product marketing.Coordinate seasonal and holiday focused promotional efforts.Utilize third party tools and software to generate advertisements.Monitor and report monthly on campaign performanceAll content developed must be in compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and statutes.Keep up with design trends and relevant topics in digital media.Create, edit, publish, and share social media content that builds meaningful connections and encourages members to engage with the credit union.Assist in website management for all OECU online properties.Normal work hours are 8:00a - 5:00p, Monday - Friday, with occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree in Graphic Design or Advertising preferred1-3 years of experience working with a variety of graphic design platforms/software.1-3 years of experience in graphic design and/or desktop publishing.COMPETENCIES:

Comfortable handling multiple projects and deadlines at once; able to adapt quickly to changes.Proficient with graphic design software (Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop).Ability to think creatively.Strong organizational skills; high level of attention to detail.Knowledge of digital campaign planning and execution.Understanding of ethics and what is appropriate for business advertising.Ability to work well in a team environment.Excellent writing and proofreading skills.Willingness to learn and share ideas.Ability to research appropriate financial information/topics from trusted sources.Understanding of ADA compliance for digital platforms is preferred.Ability to lift and carry 30 to 50 pounds.Ability to sit for long periods of time.COMPUTER SKILLS:

· Knowledge of online marketing tools and understanding of major marketing channels:

Google AdwordsGoogle AnalyticsSEO/SEMBlogs/ArticlesSocial Media business/ad managerThird Party Scheduling Tools (HootSuite, etc.)· Intermediate to advanced skill in:
