Responsibilities • Create and design various materials for digital and print • Select colors, fonts, images, and layouts... • Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner with a quality product • Update and maintain internal databases for designs, photography, and video • Collaborate with fellow designers to develop new approaches for creating more- expressive graphics for the company • Work with a wide range of media and graphic design software • Establish creative direction for the company within brand guidelines • Manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions • Determine voice and messaging for graphic design pieces • Examine existing processes, identify flaws, and create solutions that improve design capabilities • Implement feedback and changes whenever possible • Create visualizations that convey accurate messaging for the project. Preferred Skills And Qualifications • 3 to 5 years of experience (academic and professional) with design software, including Adobe Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, QuarkXPress, Illustrator and Dreamweaver • Three or more years of experience in professional graphic design, preferably with a creative or marketing agency • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, art, or related discipline • Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript • Knowledge of WordPress and content management systems • Photography experience and proficiency with photo-editing software • Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Portfolio of work with a wide range of creative projects Benefits • Health, life, dental insurance • Long- and short-term disability • 401(k) with 100% company match (up to 5% of salary) • PTO (15 days for first year- [6 days paid vacation,9 sick days]); (20 days for second year) • Flexible working schedules (8am-5pm / 9 am-6pm / 10am-7pm) • 9 Paid holidays
