The Graphic Designer I/Assistant is responsible for working as a creative team member to support internal program marketing and campaigns, implement an asset management system and new processes for the Graphic Design Team. This individual is responsible for creating designs that are consistent with the company's brand, meets project timelines, and are within budget. Being part of CHA means being part of a team of talented professionals, where you'll find support for your career growth and the opportunity to impact our industry and our communities. • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field required; or equivalent combination of education and experience • No prior experience in graphic design required; however, development of creative output and marketing materials in print, interactive, image and/or motion design preferred • Experience working with and managing vendors including photographers and printers preferred • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop and Premiere; Adobe Acrobat Professional and Microsoft Office (PC Platform) and a content management system • Knowledge of photography/video equipment • Must be highly artistic, creative and the ability to develop and execute visual ideas that fully support the creative brief • Good verbal and written communication skills and concept development skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment At CHA, we work every day to create solutions, help people, and improve our world, committed to creating and fostering excellence in our diverse and highly talented teams.
