Disney Entertainment and ESPN Product & Technology is a global organization of engineers, product developers, designers, technologists, data scientists, and more - all working to build and advance the technological backbone for Disney's media business globally. The Distribution Operations team within CPO delivers content and supporting components for Disney's incredible global streaming services and brands - from Disney+, Hulu, ESPN, National Geographic, ABC and ABC News, Walt Disney Studios, and Disney Channels. The teams in this organization work with senior stakeholders from many parts of the Disney Entertainment business to ensure content readiness for all content on Disney+/Hotstar, and Hulu on Disney+. We are seeking a proactive, strategic Graphic Designer II who will be part of the Distribution Operations team in Glendale, CA, and reporting to the Sr Manager of Artwork & Design Operations. Responsibilities and Duties of the Role: • Owns the Artwork Localization workflow (i.e., artwork design and creation, vendor management), schedules, and Service Level Agreements (SLA) • Assist with managing client expectations and relationships • Reports Quality Control (QC) issues and manages deliverables • Uploads assets to system management tools to ensure successful upload to Platform • Maintains artwork specifications for all orders • Liaises with partners and production teams to communicate needs and resolve issues • Primary point of contact and escalation for artwork orders • Analyzes, assesses, and reports production metrics • Effectively communicates project and title level updates cross-functionally and with our internal and external partners • Ability to communicate effectively on a regular cadence to wide audiences on overall project health • Knowledgeable and realistic when balancing client demands with creative and qualitative integrity • Troubleshoots issues and performs root cause analysis to define what happened and how the issue can be avoided/resolved going forward • Provides timely feedback to Manager on perceived delays or challenges to the defined delivery deadlines • Perceives and identifies patterns that can facilitate resolution to complex problems • Applies creative and practical solutions for problem solving • Able to work effectively with internal teams, vendors, and other designers
