Graphic Designer II

The Graphic Designer for Advancement Communications and Marketing is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing visual content that supports the communications and marketing goals of the university's Advancement division. Working under the direction of the unit/department head , the Graphic Designer collaborates with writers, digital marketers, event planners, fundraisers, and external vendors to deliver high-quality creative assets across a variety of platforms. A bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, communications or journalism with 3 years’ experience in graphic design, advertising, marketing, communications or a related field, to include experience in print and digital design (multimedia, email and web, as well as experience with the printing process/press checks and effective management of outside production vendors. More than 2 years’ experience in graphic design, advertising, marketing, communications or a related field, to include experience producing multimedia, email and we graphic design, as well as experience with the printing process/press checks and effective management of outside production vendors. Ability to work in an agency-like setting, collaboratively, with other members of creative project management and production in a fast-paced work environment.
