Hopefully you enjoy the frenetic, dynamic, and exciting environment of a fast-growing firm, because we're looking for a dynamic Graphic Designer II .Position Summary: Creates final mechanicals with attention to composition, color, typography and visual impact.Position Responsibilities:Designs and executes mechanicals, based on client specification, brand standards, budget constraints and final format needed for file outputDetermines size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, selects style and size of type, and arranges layout based upon specs and aesthetic design conceptsPresents sample to Creative Director for approvalProvides final pre-flight of digital files that are delivered to clients and vendors to ensure the accuracy of the completed projectReviews proofs for highest levels of quality and accuracyUses a wide range of media, including photographyKeeps abreast of developments in marketing and advertising environmentsContributes ideas and design artwork to the overall briefOther duties as assignedRequirementsRole Qualifications: Must be able to effectively execute design solutions against a creative brief to meet constraints of cost, time and client needsMust work well in a team, with printers, copywriters, photographers, proofreaders, other designers, account executives, website designers and marketing specialistsEssential Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in Digital Graphic Design, Advertising or Marketing, or 3 to 5 years' experience in a related field requiredProficiency in the entire Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Microsoft applications as well as Sketch, and FigmaAbility to execute files using Microsoft Office applications such as SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word and ExcelThinks creatively to produce new ideasAbility to think visually and to envision a project from beginning to endMust be able to solve complex problems, make judgments and decisions, and think logically and criticallyAbility to multitask while meeting tight deadlinesProduces accurate and high-quality workBenefits Paid vacation, sick leave and holidaysMedical/Vision/Dental/Short-Term Disability/Long-Term DisabilityEmployer paid Life InsuranceFlexible Spending Accounts: Health/Dependent Care401(k) matchingCool people to work with!Salary DescriptionSalary Range: $64,400 to 70,800 annually
