Graphic Designer III

Rothe is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our creative team. This role combines art and technology to communicate ideas through compelling visuals across digital and print platforms. The ideal candidate will conceptualize and produce designs that inspire, inform, and captivate audiences—including media consumers, exhibit visitors, and event guests. Key Responsibilities • Develop visual concepts using computer software or traditional methods to communicate ideas effectively • Design layouts for websites, printed publications, promotional materials, and multimedia content • Create logos, illustrations, and other visual elements that align with branding and messaging goals • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to present design concepts and incorporate feedback • Review final designs for accuracy and quality prior to publication or distribution • Maintain and recommend branding standards and design guidelines across all media • Produce content for agency publications, quarterly magazines, annual awards, and special events • Develop and maintain graphic templates for consistent and efficient production • Support multimedia services with graphic assets for films, packaging, and instructional materials Skills & Qualifications • BA/BS in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in graphic design or a related area • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Pro) • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Familiarity with various output devices and production processes • Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills • High level of creativity and artistic ability with attention to detail • Experience working in a mission-driven or scientific organization • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines • Passion for visual storytelling and user-centered design
