The person holding this position may be considered a "mandated reporter" under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and is required to comply with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083 as a condition of employment. Reporting to the Director of Integrated College Communications, the Graphic Designer works closely with university colleges and departments to understand and fulfill their visual communications needs, ensuring that all visual materials align with the university’s brand standards and strategic priorities. Minimum Qualifications • Comprehensive knowledge of graphic design and production principles and communication theory including a basic understanding of marketing and promotion concepts. • Working knowledge of copyright laws applicable to design work and creative properties. While this position may be eligible for occasional telework, all work is expected to be performed in the state of California, and this position is assigned to on-campus operations.
