Job SummaryReporting to the Assistant Art Director, the Graphic Designer is a key member of the Museum’s Design Department. The Graphic Designer provides graphic and experiential design solutions for world class exhibition projects and art gallery enhancements. Basic functions include the layout and production of graphics needs for all physical spaces in the museum.Location: Boston, MAEssential FunctionsCore member of design team along with 3D Designer for assigned special exhibition projects.Assume graphic design duties for fulfilling sign requests from all areas of the Museum, including visitor services, membership, education, curatorial, programs, events, facilities, and communications.Familiarize self with various in-house methods and practices involved with the design, production and installation of gallery environmental graphics (labels, text panels, cut vinyl signage, etc. Full-Time, 35 hours per week.
