They are committed to continually developing their design skills, have strong attention to detail, a desire for excellence and innovation, and are excited to be a key player in a high-growth company.Key Responsibilities and TasksLeads designs and creative campaigns that align with strategy and reflect Sports Imports’ established brandDesign and produce creative artwork including, but not limited to: advertising, social media, website, brochures, flyers, magazines, displays, emails, events and exhibitions.Present new ideas to members of the team and options for design templates and elementsMonitor projects through all phases of productionProofreading and preparing designs to be sent to print and/or to publishingQualifications and SkillsBachelor’s degree with graphic design, illustration, marketing, fine art, or communications focus.2-5 years of work experience in the graphic design field designing across multiple platforms.Mid-level experience designing for print and webKnowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with superb skills in Illustrator, InDesign and PhotoshopExperience with graphics, typography, and digital photographyComfort with online tools for gathering and sending data or images relevant to the completion of a design project, especially the delivery of design files to print vendorsUnderstanding of a brand’s audiences, identity, mission, and value propositionExperience in volleyball or sports industry preferredWorking knowledge of other software such as Acrobat Pro, After Effects, Canva, etc. preferredIntangiblesTeam player who enjoys collaboratingAttention to detailA matter-of-fact approach when ideas or designs are rejected; flexibilityAwareness of competitive business environmentCreative flair, originality, and a strong visual senseVision and execution alignment to Leadership TeamConfidence to present and explain ideasWhy Join Sports Imports?Sports Imports is the trusted leader in volleyball, training and net system equipment, committed to delivering exceptional products and services.
