Graphic DesignerThe Graphic Designer plays a pivotal role in creating and overseeing the visual identity and branding of Evangel University. He or she will support the development and execution of strategies that elevate the university's brand, support the telling of the university's story both internally and externally, and drive towards growth in the university's mission and vision. This role is responsible for leading design projects and ensuring that all visual materials align with the university's brand guidelines. Expertise in graphic design, branding, and leadership will help maintain a consistent and impactful presence for the Evangel University brand across a variety of marketing communications and brand touchpoints.Your Impact and Responsibilities:Leads design projects from start to finish and provides valuable creative feedback throughout the processTakes ideas from concept to execution by working closely with the leadership team, internal and external partners, and Marketing colleagues to deliver completed projects in a timely mannerFunctions as a brand steward to ensure brand standards and guidelines are maintained with cross-functional and external partnersContinuously explores the industry's best practices to maximize creativity and inspire othersEffectively designs a wide range of promotional collateral, including:PrintWebEmail/Social MediaEvent Signage/SwagRequirements for Success:5+ years relevant industry experienceMaintain a high level of professionalism and an exceptional team attitudeDetail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changingSelf-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong written and verbal communication skillsCompelling portfolio demonstrating creative versatility, conceptual thinking, and superb design execution across multiple design disciplinesStays current on design and industry trends, adapting to best practicesAbility to incorporate feedback and give/take directionAbility to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaborativelyHands-on experience with logo design, typography, iconography, color theory, layout design, print production, and image selectionHighly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite products (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experienceEvangel University is an equal opportunity employer participating in the E-Verify program.
