To be considered in determining pay, all related work experience must be listed on the application.Required Documents Needed to Upload at Time of Application:Resume, transcripts and three professional references.Reference check requirements:Three (3) professional references, two (2) of which should be former or current supervisors and (1) professional reference.Personal references (friends, clergy, customers, relatives) are not considered acceptable references.A professional reference such as a previous or current co-worker may be used as one of the references.Position Summary:The overall purpose of the Graphic Designer is to accurately design print and web material for internal and external audiences for the purpose of promoting the college through marketing and information avenues.Essential Functions:70%Develop and implement creative and professional concepts for the graphic design of print publications, advertisements and other informative college publications, often in collaboration with the Senior Graphic Designer.15%Ensure that graphic design materials developed fit into the college's overall marketing strategy and Identity Guidelines and that they are technically sound for commercial printing publication.5%Collaborate with the Senior Graphic Designer, Web and Advertising assistant director, Publications coordinator and outside printers and sales associates to guarantee that jobs are designed and packaged to meet proper printing guidelines and specifications.5%Document and track the status of each design project.5%Stay current on design trends, software, printing processes, competitors, etc., and apply knowledge as appropriate when developing designs.
