DescriptionDo you want your designs to make an impact on the success of local businesses? Would you like to see your work in the public arena? If so, we have a great opportunity for you! Our Lamar office in Tulsa, OK is now hiring a new team member to help us design effective outdoor advertising campaigns for brands in Tulsa, Oklahoma and the surrounding areas. Includes working with clients to convert their current designs to effective outdoor designs, and helping clients with sizing and translation issues when providing their own artwork.Work with other markets to promote and produce campaigns for new digitals and/or PowerPoint presentations.Manage special requests and/or designs that require special attention.Communicate with the printers on uploading art, confirming art dimensions, and confirming advertisement dimensions.QualificationsAptitude, thorough understanding, and proficiency in outdoor design.Ability to communicate effectively with proper grammar in person, over the phone, and via e‑mail.Ability to design visually with the proficiency to distinguish color patterns and identify good use of color.Thorough knowledge of departmental processes and procedures, as well as company policies.Knowledge of inventory and territory is preferred.Ability to perform effectively under conditions of fluctuating workloads.Ability to design visually appealing outdoor advertisements and marketing materials by converting verbal requests into visual designs.Skill in working independently and following through on assignments with minimal direction.Must be self‑motivated, personable, team player with a positive and accommodating attitude.Must be creative, forward‑thinking, with a solid understanding of design concepts, particularly layout and typography.Must have strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to balance projects, set deadlines, and manage expectations.Must be able to design within our company branding guidelines.Ability to brainstorm individually and collaboratively, mock up designs, and present ideas.Must have an eye for details and be able to respond positively to constructive criticism.Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.Basic knowledge of PowerPoint and other presentation programs, such as Keynote or Prezi.Basic knowledge of the print production process.Education & ExperienceHigh School Education or equivalent required.An associate degree or up to 3 years of college or technical school in graphic arts is required.A minimum of 2 years of experience in graphic arts is preferred.Or another equivalent combination of education and experience.BenefitsMonday – Friday 8am – 5pm work schedule.Hourly range of $20 – $22 per hour, dependent on relevant experience and qualifications.Phone allowance upon providing required documents.120 hours of paid time off (PTO) that increases with tenure.12 paid company holidays, including President’s Day and Juneteenth.A comprehensive training program.Career advancement opportunities.Ongoing professional development and internal leadership programs.Multiple medical plan options and health savings account.Hospital, Critical Illness, and Accident coverage.Short‑ and long‑term disability and paid parental leave.Employee Stock Purchase Plan.401(k) plan with company match.Up to $1,200 value in employer‑paid HSA contributions and cash rewards for engaging in our wellness program.A people‑first culture that invests in connection, community involvement, and transparency around employee feedback.EEO StatementLamar is an EEO/AA employer, including Individuals with Disabilities, Protected Veterans, and any other State or Federally protected characteristic.#J-18808-Ljbffr
