This role requires a designer with advanced Photoshop capabilities, a strong aesthetic sensibility, and the ability to translate broad creative direction into excellent, timely deliverables.Operating within a fast-paced and collaborative environment, the Graphic Designer will work closely with the Senior Designer and Creative Manager, to produce high-quality artwork for sermon series, ministry communications, events, campaigns, and digital platforms. The ideal candidate is resourceful, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing both conceptual development and production execution.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Creative & Concept DevelopmentTranslate verbal and written creative direction into clear, compelling design solutions across multiple mediumsDevelop visual branding for sermon series, major events, ministry campaigns, and church-wide initiativesMeet with internal ministry partners to identify goals, design needs, and communication strategiesProduce initial concepts for review and make revisions based on feedback from creative leadershipDesign & ProductionCreate and format artwork for digital platforms, social media, print collateral, signage, screen-based environments, web graphics, and apparelAdapt and resize existing artwork into multiple formats with accuracy and attention to detailEnsure consistency in visual standards while supporting innovative and forward-thinking design approachesCollaborate with videographers on graphic elements incorporated into motion contentDetermine recommended production methods, materials, and print specifications as neededCoordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and print partners to ensure quality and timely deliveryWorkflow & SupportRespond effectively to urgent or time-sensitive requestsMaintain an updated portfolio that demonstrates a broad range of design capabilitiesPerform additional duties as assignedCOMPETENCIESStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent creative problem-solving ability and professional interpersonal skillsProven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-demand, fast-paced environmentAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesignStrong understanding of layout, typography, color theory, visual hierarchy, and file preparationExperience designing for both digital and print production workflowsFamiliarity with social media platforms and scheduling toolsWillingness to learn advanced AI design tools (e.g., Midjourney, Runway.ai)Preferred: Experience with After Effects, Figma, and Canva.POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORKThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of operation are generally scheduled Monday – Thursday 7:00am-5:00pm. Working some weekends is a requirement of this position.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to maintain good or corrected vision, including depth perception and focus adjustmentAbility to perform repetitive hand and arm movementsAbility to remain seated in a stationary position for extended periodsAbility to operate computer and office equipment for prolonged durationsAbility to lift up to 15 lbs.
