This role requires a broad range of design skills to meet all the creative needs of the company, including designing, ideation, creating, cutting out, and mocking up. The designer will work on a wide variety of projects across digital and printed media, supporting our CPG division specializing in freeze-dried fruit products and expanding into dried and frozen products.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Design a wide variety of materials across digital and printed mediaWork with Art Director and Marketing Manager to create graphics, including illustration, photography, typography, logos, etc.Assist in shaping visual aspects of marketing, social media, websites, product packaging, tradeshow graphics, advertisements, and more, while maintaining brand recognitionResearch and become familiar with competition and existing brandsManage and execute internal studio projectsCreate internal communications materials (e.g., name tags, event graphics)Support the social media team with original, engaging content for our freeze-dried productsDevelop packaging designs for new and existing product lines, including private label projectsInteract with 3rd party vendors and manage design work through partner agency portalsContribute to food and recipe-related social media contentCreate 3D comps of CPG packaging using advanced 3D design softwareMaintain brand consistency across all design projectsCreate PowerPoint presentations and other corporate communicationsResearch and become familiar with competition and existing brands to watchRequired Experience, Skills, & Abilities:Minimum Associate’s degree with a focus on graphic design, plus 2 years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.Strong knowledge of Adobe Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesignProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Experience with Premier Pro and After Effects would be a plusKnowledge of digital 3D softwareSelf-starter with great communication skillsAbility to multi-task and easily switch gears in a fast-paced environmentStrong eye for visual compositionKnowledge of fundamental design layout principlesKnowledge of the printing process and setting up files for printExceptional attention to detailAbility to collaborate, accept feedback, and make changes to designsAbility to create mock-ups/prototypes of ideasAbility to work independently and exercise sound judgment and problem-solving skillsCustomer-centric mindset, able to view projects from the client's perspectiveSense of humor to create engaging social content while maintaining brand integrityAdaptability to work on diverse projects, from packaging to internal communicationsHow to Apply:We encourage all qualified applicants to apply!
