Location & Hours: This is a full-time, on-site position located at our Little Rock, Arkansas headquarters. A high level of attendance is required as an essential function of this position.The graphic designer plays a very important role within Dillard’s in-house advertising department, creating compelling designs copy to promote Dillard’s merchandise in various advertising pieces—primarily email campaigns. Position is located in Little Rock at our Corporate Headquarters (no remote work available.)ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESWorks collaboratively with creative director and copy & merchandise teams to design layouts for Dillard’s advertising pieces, including: emails, signs, direct mail, etc.Works with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and occasionally Adobe Illustrator to create graphics and imageryManages all aspects of an email's production including: layout/organization, cropping images, creating graphics, building and testing links, and trafficking the email through stages of review and approvalProduces all work in accordance with Dillard’s design standardsMaintains a strong understanding of Dillard’s brands, customer profiles and broader fashion industry trendsREQUIRED SKILLS1+ years experience in graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)Experience designing for e-commerce, email or digital advertising and ability to provide examples of previous workStrong understanding of fundamental visual design including layout/composition and colorExperience managing multiple projects at once, while adhering to deadlines and producing the desired resultsCollege or associate degree in related field and/or Professional Certification requiredAccuracy and a strong eye for detail are absolutely essentialExcellent written and verbal communication skillsShould possess high emotional intelligence and a willingness to collaborate and accept/offer constructive feedbackShould be self-motivated and highly organizedMust be comfortable working under tight deadlinesMINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE1 YearDESIRED SKILLSPreferred candidates will possess an interest in fashion, commerce, popular culture, current events, advertising trends, etc.#J-18808-Ljbffr
