In the role of graphic designer, the employee is responsible for creating high-quality, professional print material and digital assets to be used for undergraduate, graduate, and international recruitment, retention efforts, fundraising, event promotion and other support material as needed.The Graphic Designer works within the Division of Advancement and Communications and supports Enrollment Management, Student Affairs, The Center for Graduate Studies, Special Sessions, Global Education, Advancement and Alumni Engagement and many other university departments to help create printed materials and electronic media showcasing the best Brockport has to offer.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, or other art or design based equivalent, from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education recognized accrediting organization.Minimum of one year of graphic design experience.Understanding various social media platforms.Demonstrated ability to plan and manage multiple projects.Demonstrated ability to learn the tools needed to make all work accessible.Willingness to contribute to a positive work environment and work collaboratively as part of a team.Preferred Qualifications:Basic knowledge of HTML.Higher education experience.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pmSalary and Benefits: Minimum starting salary - $55,741This position is benefits eligible; Find out more about benefits at Careers@Brockport!
