For more information, please visit www.igt.com .OverviewThe Graphic Designer II (Proposals) position is responsible for strategically collaborating with proposal managers, proposal specialists, Account Development Managers and other team members to develop, design, and produce various proposal related communication material for diverse proposal opportunities.Location- This is a hybrid position located in Providence, RI.ResponsibilitiesStrategic design and production of proposal materials; informational graphics/diagrams, covers, custom packaging, designed templates, content layout, marketing material, etc.Lead with team members to project manage design initiatives throughout proposal development; including proposal design conception, design content and strategy planning, integration of stakeholder and team feedback, and format/design of final proposal materialActively engage in concept development of bid design strategy, and convey comprehensive strategic messaging to targeted audienceRead and analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs) provide design inputs to schedule, assignment plans, and content developmentLayout and design of proposal material in MS Word, InDesign, or other programs such as PowerPoint and Excel; using various templates that incorporate RFP requirementsContribute creative ideas and solutions for design team processes and improvements (innovations/design trends), department initiatives, and individual project success and completionExecute final production tasks such as combining PDF files, redacting confidential material, and preparing files and/or documents for submission to the customerEnsures that all work adheres to department standards and maintains brand continuityQualificationsSkilled in Adobe Creative Suite (CS6 Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, etc. )Excellent visualization and design skills; including color, typography, and photographyDesktop publishing experience including page layout, use/creation of templates, layout of design elements, and formattingKnowledge and experience working with final production and printing, able to prepare files for printAble to take direction from numerous resources and to receive and incorporate practical feedbackAbility to multi-task with high attention to detailActively able to problem solve, both long term and on the flyAble to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize deadlines, activities and workloadsVery Creative; Ability to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or ideaAble to maintain ownership and develop a design from concept through final executionSelf-motivated to initiate personal growth in desired areasExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsEDUCATIONDesign and desktop publishing specific training and industry experience acceptable.Higher level educational degree in Graphic Design or related field is highly desirable.ExperienceThree years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is highly desirableKeys to SuccessBuilding collaborative relationshipsDecision makingDrive resultsFoster innovationPersonal energySelf-leadershipIGT is committed to sustaining a workforce that reflects the diversity of the global customers and communities we serve, creating a fair and inclusive culture that enables all our employees to feel valued, respected and engaged.
