Overview:Delivers graphic and communication design, brand development, print and digital media and graphic packages. Possesses and applies a diversified knowledge of marketing practices and procedures to complete assignments with originality and creativity in collaboration with team. Anticipates job expectations and contributes to project and design solutions.Responsibilities:Designs a variety of marketing projects including print, digital, web, signage and graphic packages for internal and external use in collaboration with teamOrganizes the layout and formatting of materials, including typographic, photographic, illustrative and graphic elementsMay assist in developing concepts for marketing projectsEnsures that all creative deliverables uphold expected quality standardsEstimates timelines and meets deadlines on assigned projectsManages and maintains digital and graphic files, including photos, logos and art in standard formats and filing structure; distributing as requestedWorks collaboratively with Marketing Communications teamContributes to a team environment that promotes continual creative improvement and a culture of innovation and accountabilityAssists in the development of creative ideas for marketing and team initiativesStays current on trends and developments in digital and print designSeeks leadership opportunities by providing direction and feedback to team members and collaborating with team leadersMay develop respective print and digital materials for proactively developing new business as neededMay prepare materials for business development introductions, relationship building and proposalsMay create and maintain documents and graphics for ease of inclusion into pursuit documents, saving time and money on pursuit preparation, as neededQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Advertising or related degreeTypically with 5+ years of experience in advertising/design agency environmentProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Sketchup graphic softwareProficiency in MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferredKnowledge of and interest in architecture/interior designExcellent writing skills with experience in graphically designed page layoutsExcellent attention to detail and commitment to excellenceExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of staff and customers; ability to forge trusting relationships within a diverse teamStrong presentation skillsStrong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate, manage, prioritize, and perform on multiple projects at the same timeAbility to communicate and present ideas in a clear, concise and professional manner both verbally and in writingAbility to proactively problem solve and apply innovative solutionsAbility to work and collaborate in a team environment, and ability to work independently and prioritize workAbility to effectively meet deadlines at expected qualityBase Salary Range: $55k - $77k annually - applies to Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, New York, and Washington D.C.The estimate displayed represents the general base salary range of candidates hired in the Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, New York, and Washington D.C. locations only.
