We’re a small team with a wide variety of services, so the person filling this position will be wearing many hats and will frequently be asked to take on new and unfamiliar tasks. We’re looking for someone who sees this as an opportunity, not a burden. This is a full-time, in-office position in Dallas, TX (This is not a remote position).RESPONSIBILITIESPrint design (layout, revisions, and mechanical art production for brochures, flyers, etc. ), curating images for print and web applications, and drawing/editing floorplans and maps.Edit website content via a variety of content management systems.Coordinate with print vendors, web developers, shipping services, etc.Maintain well-organized, well-built, error-free files.Manage one’s own workload, stay on top of multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment, and keep in constant communication with managers about project status.Stay up-to-date on current industry trends, technologies, theories, best practices, etc.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.Highly proficient in Adobe CC apps (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop) on the Mac, with a thorough understanding of major file formats, image resolution, etc.Good drawing skills.Highly organized and detail-oriented.Excellent problem solver and creative thinker.Good at following creative direction, taking constructive criticism, and adjusting to changing circumstances.Professional appearance and demeanor.Good verbal and written communication skills.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS1 to 2 years of previous experience as a professional graphic designer.Experience working with video, environmental graphics, and technical drawings.Familiarity with architectural blueprints and terminology.
