Reporting to the Manager, Integrated Marketing with dotted line to the Golden Entertainment corporate creative department, you will support a digital-first initiative while providing excellence in legacy media design that drives guest visits and repeat business.DescriptionSummary: As a Graphic Designer and a key visual storyteller, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling designs that support brand identity, promotional campaigns, special events, world-class entertainment, award-winning food and beverage, and resort amenities. Reporting to the Manager, Integrated Marketing with dotted line to the Golden Entertainment corporate creative department, you will support a digital-first initiative while providing excellence in legacy media design that drives guest visits and repeat business.Essential Functions And ResponsibilitiesCreate, design, and produce creative materials for print, digital, on-property signage, gaming systems (Konami), advertising, social media, email marketing, and web, both independently and based on the direction of managementCollaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales/catering, events, food & beverage, entertainment, hotel, and gaming) to conceptualize and deliver high-impact campaigns that align with the property’s brand and promotionsMaintain and evolve brand consistency across all visual assetsCapture photos and videos of casino promotions and events for use across digital and social media platforms (professional-level equipment or expertise not required)Create engaging, on-brand content that highlights property experiences using a mix of photography, video, and graphic design elementsPrepare print-ready and web-optimized files and coordinate with vendors as neededSupport quick-turnaround requests and ensure timely delivery of all design projectsStay current on casino, hospitality, and entertainment design trendsMaintain accurate status of assignments in scheduling softwareEnsure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the positionProvide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standardsPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsQualifications3-4 years of professional graphic design experience (casino, hospitality, or entertainment industry experience preferred).Knowledge of advertising and marketing principlesExcellent time management, organization, and communication skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detailAccurate and professional written communication, including but not limited to spelling, grammar, and punctuationProven experience providing high level of guest serviceKnowledge of print production and digital media best practicesBasic understanding of the advertising industry and expertise in all areas of design and productionProficient with typography hierarchy and design layoutStrong portfolio showcasing print and digital design workProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects).At least 21 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, or related field preferredAbility to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbalObtain and maintain all work cards as required by the companyVerify right to work in the United StatesPlease include a link to your online portfolioWork CardsNonePhysical RequirementsOccasionally push/pull up to 15lbs.Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 15lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levelsOccasionally squat, kneel, reach, bend, twistRegularly sit and work at a desk or computerOccasionally stand and walkAbility to communicate using in-person speech and telephoneAbility to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in personAbility to distinguish between shades of colorAbility to tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterityWork Environment Potential ConditionsIndoorSmokyNoisyBright flashing lightsExposure to dust, fumes and/or gasesDisclaimerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
