Collaborating with multiple teams across the company, the graphic designer should be able to take written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects and resonates. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for design, a thorough understanding of branding and marketing, and be able to find the right style and layout for every project. Key Responsibilities • Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various software programs to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals • Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams or clients on a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, proposals, collateral, signage, internal communications, newsletters, videos, and marketing materials • Obtain input from others to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company appropriately • Work with subject matter experts (SMEs)/engineers to create explanatory graphics for government bids and proposals. • Work independently as well as cooperatively with marketing team to meet deadlines, stay with budget, and schedule project implementation based on workload, which may include multiple projects simultaneously • Examine existing processes, identify areas of improvement, and create solutions that improve workflows capabilities • Update and maintain internal repository of artwork, designs, photography, and video assets. • Strong portfolio showcasing creative design solutions and a keen understanding of typography, color, and layout design.
