As a junior graphic designer, you will play a key role on a variety of fun and challenging projects ranging from print/digital advertisements, marketing collateral and fully integrated marketing programs. You will deliver top tier creative for clients of the Community Journals and for Community Journals’ own marketing programs. Process client-designed ads for print and digital Adhere to brand specific language and guidelines to complete projects for clients, including print and web ads Design and create in-house marketing materials and office collateral Assist with executing marketing programs for Community Journals Develop multimedia marketing packages (including, but not limited to, print ads, web ads, sales brochures, development signage, office collateral, banners, billboards, etc.) Demonstrable range in graphic design skills with a stellar portfolio to showcase 0-2 years of experience Ability to work with a team to transform our clients’ vision into final deliverables Must be comfortable presenting to peers and executive level stakeholders Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards Understanding of web design process Experience in producing online display advertising and animated ads Understanding of print production process Proficiency with Adobe CS – Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign Motion graphics and video editing skills a plus Utilizing digital design programs such as Creatopy a plus
