You should have a strong understanding of design strategy, including layout, formatting, and production for both print and digital media.ResponsibilitiesDesign layouts incorporating text, iconography, and images to deliver a clear and engaging messageApply current and emerging design trends while adhering to fundamental design principlesWork closely with writers and proposal coordinators to transform content into compelling visual graphicsPresent and articulate design concepts to internal clients and the graphic design managerIncorporate feedback from internal clients and the marketing director into final designsReview all designs for accuracy and quality before printing or publishingAssist in planning and directing photography to support marketing initiativesQualificationsCandidates must have their portfolio link on their resumes in order to be consideredBachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field, or equivalent experience3–5 years of experience working in a design firm or creative team environmentStrong conceptual thinker with excellent visual communication skillsAbility to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple prioritiesDeep understanding of both digital and print design, with a heavy focus on layout designProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesignExcellent time management, problem-solving skills, and initiative to meet deadlinesSolid understanding of printing and production processes, including working with vendors and printersOpen to constructive feedback while also confidently presenting and defending design choicesStrong presentation, listening, and communication skillsAbility to collaborate effectively within the Marketing + Communications teamStrong problem-solving abilities and resourcefulness in finding multiple design solutionsDemonstrated initiative, responsibility, and accountabilityPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and After EffectsIndustry knowledge is a plusFamiliarity with technical graphic or rendering software, such as Beyond Typicals, SketchUp, GIS software, or 3DS Max #J-18808-Ljbffr
