About the RoleLocation: Remote (Michigan residents), occasional business travelAre you a graphic designer excited to show what you can do with your motion graphics skills?Join Morley's award-winning Creative team in this remote Graphic Designer / Motion Graphic Designer role and elevate your career!Using your strength in these two areas, you’ll create effective, performance-driven visual solutions that resonate, motivate and grow our brand and the brands of our Fortune / Global 500 clients.What You’ll DoCreate compelling graphic design and motion graphics that captivate and engage audiencesCollaborate with the Creative team to develop innovative designs for a range of digital platformsCreate (concept through completion) high-quality, compelling designs for:Web and mobile appsLarge-format graphicsInteractive documentsProposals and presentationsMultimedia piecesTraditional print and other creative / marketing materialsPackage and prepare files for release to printersMaintain production files, including fonts, images, logos and other artworkApproach & CollaborationExecute complex design and communication strategies, lead customer-centric journeys, and craft dynamic deliverables for print, digital, interactive, social and viral projects, and live eventsUse your deep knowledge of color theory, composition and layout to transform concepts into inspired visual storytellingUnderstand and serve client business needs, both working independently and in collaboration with Creative, Production and cross-departmental teamsPrioritize work to accommodate tight timelines required by clients in both Eastern and Pacific time zonesCommunicate the strategy and rationale for design decisions concisely and confidently, articulating concepts and creative ideas for internal and external partners / clientsEnsure brand consistency while offering fresh approachesStay current with trends in culture, motion and graphic design, technology, social media, photography, and video. Propose new ideas based on these trends and share your insights with the team.Skills for SuccessRequired SkillsA positive, self-starter attitude with a desire to work in a fast-paced, low-ego environmentMastery of Adobe Creative Cloud design apps (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and XD)Motion graphic and video editing skills using Adobe After Effects and Premiere ProProficiency in the Microsoft suite of productsExcellent visual communication skillsDemonstrated expertise in graphic design and motion graphics, typography, color theory and compositionProven ability to adapt design styles and apply branded style guides with consistencyAble to execute creative concepts in traditional print design and ensure sound pre-press productionAble to manage multiple projects at once while meeting all deadlinesStrong attention to detail and creative process workflowsExceptional typography skillsEligibility RequirementsBA in graphic design or related degree / education (Extensive industry expertise and job-related experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements)Three years of experience in an agency or in-house creative environmentExperience in:Wix Studio Editor XCampaign Monitor or a similar email builderAsana or an equivalent program management softwarePresentation design using PowerPoint and KeynoteAn inspiring portfolio that demonstrates your passion for great design, stylistic breadth, attention to detail and intuitive usability through thoughtful, beautiful and strategic creative solutionsAble to work the following schedule:Monday - Friday8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Eastern timeFlexible to support after standard work hours or on weekends if needed to complete high-priority projects or accommodate client / program schedulesAble to travel occasionally for businessNice to Have3D and animation designRemote Work RequirementsMichigan residentHigh-speed internet access at home that you are able to connect to via Ethernet or landlineSecluded and distraction-free work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
