Main day-to-day requirements are advertisement creation and submission, including working with various account reps from the printing company and digital as well as print magazines to ensure bleeds and trims are correct; overseeing packaging creation and updates to reflect current branding standards for the company, along with ensuring that dielines are accurate and digital files are print-ready and properly match the finished product. Most of this work will be completed in Adobe Photoshop but will require skills in Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat as well. Although the primary function is graphic design, this is a two-person marketing department and various tasks may require your artistic direction, including the creation of powerpoints, ongoing website updates, content creation, copywriting for advertisements, and light photography. Creative problem solving skills are an absolute must for someone to excel in this role. We seek employees with self-initiative and those that have the ability to figure out and overcome obstacles.
