Graphic Designer (Part Time)

Pay Rate Range: $26.74- $31.74 Benefits (Full-Time, W2 Employees - at least 30 hours per week): Medical, Dental, and Vision offerings Weekly Direct Deposit Paid Holidays and Personal Time Off 401(k) with match Voluntary Life and AD&D, Short / Long Term Disability, plus other voluntary coverages Pre-Paid Legal and Employee Assistance Programs Northwest Federal Credit Union Membership BB&T @ Work Program Our team is currently seeking a part-time Graphic Designer who will work in collaborations with our in-house team to develop, design, and maintain our research study's media assets (print, email, box art, banners, posters, brochures, fliers, etc.) and other marketing materials to enhance the appeal of an ongoing research programs targeting military personnel. The hours will fluctuate each week and could potentially range from 0-10 hours. Key Responsibilities and Job Duties: Develop creative recruitment and marketing materials for military research projects within the study budget Create visual concepts that support and enhance the project image Ensure that all marketing materials are fully accessible to a military population Modify materials based on internal and external review Continuously evaluate marketing materials for effectiveness and efficiency Provide input in the development of new marketing strategies Participate in and lead design reviews with team Collaborate with multiple internal team members to develop concept and complete assignments Stay abreast of new and relevant technologies and design trends Required Education and Experience: Degree in Graphic Design or related field AND 2-3 years of relevant experience. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat Must have impeccable attention to detail and exacting standards regarding file setup, organization, pre-press, color management, and overall quality control Detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational and follow through skills Proficiency in WordPress, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Google Plus Portfolio required DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of military personnel and culture Previous marketing experience in study (research) recruitment Knowledge of marketing strategies as they apply to military populations Knowledge of web design and HTML ABBTECH is an EOE/Minorities/Women/Disabled Individuals/Veterans
