Graphic Designer - Part Time

The graphic designer will: Design print marketing materials, such as event invitations, adoption event flyers, and department brochures. For each product, the designer will: Ensure projects are completed on time. The graphic designer will have regular contact with the entire CE-DEV team and is expected to work well in a collaborative environment. WORKING CONDITIONS: The graphic designer will work with staff and volunteers in the shelter. A portfolio of communication materials demonstrating knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field 3-5 years of experience in graphic design Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects Additional requirements: Must have a demonstrated interest and enthusiasm for animal welfare and WHS Mission; be willing to work weekends, evenings and holidays as required by the job; and meet the physical requirements of the job.
