Graphic Designer, Part-time

TAOS NEWS is accepting applications for a talented graphic design professional to work in a fast-paced and award-winning news organization. Graphic Designer (Part-time) Print Production / Ad Design / Digital Imaging / Web Skills ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Combine visual images and informative text in a way that follows creative brief, is visually pleasing and will attract the interest of the intended consumer • Be productive in a fast-paced multi-task environment and able to respond quickly to changing priorities while meeting deadlines • Understand digital media and troubleshoot supplied artwork with attention to file preparation for CMYK output MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS • Associate degree in Graphic Design or related field • Highly proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop • Experience with HTML/CSS and CMS platforms • Must work on-site • 2+years experience in advertising or newspaper environment preferred Email resume and portfolio to Karin Eberhardt, Creative Director: keberhardt@taosnews.com.
