Summary: The Part Time Graphic Designer is responsible for designing print and digital materials, museum exhibition graphics, and museum signage that align with the Saint Louis Art Museum’s brand guidelines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop designs for various print and digital materials published by the Saint Louis Art Museum including advertisements; development materials; annual reports; the museum magazine; educational materials; digital channels; and exhibition, wayfinding, and display signage, as assigned: • Design and oversee production of design deliverables produced by the Museum following established museum guidelines • Plan, collaborate and execute projects according to set deadlines • Provide stakeholders across the design division and relevant stakeholders across the Museum with regular status reports on assigned projects including any issues or delays • Attend project meetings as assigned; report on status of design projects • Ensure that final proofs of designs are reviewed and approved by Senior Designers and stakeholders • Maintain files on all projects, including information about costs and suppliers, correspondence, copies of printed materials, etc. • Obtain competitive bids from vendors for assigned projects following the Museum’s established purchasing policy • Assist in providing cost estimates for projects upon request to other departments at the Museum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years’ experience in layout, design and production are required.
